Page Wealth is committed to safeguarding your privacy and protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information in compliance with the Privacy Act 2020.

This Privacy Policy explains how Page Wealth collects, uses, and protects personal information. By engaging with our financial services, you agree to the collection and use of your data as outlined in this policy. Personal information means any information about an identifiable individual, as defined in the Privacy Act 2020.

Please note that when you contact us through our website and social media pages you are agreeing to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please send an email to raiden@pagewealth.co.nz with the subject ‘Opting Out of Privacy Policy’ and your name.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of personal information to provide tailored financial advice and meet our legal obligations:
Identification: Name, address, date of birth, and identification documents (e.g., driver’s license, passport)

Financial Information: Income, expenses, assets, liabilities, insurance policies and insurance information, and investment information
Compliance Data: Information required under the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009
Communication Records: Emails, meeting notes, call recordings and transcripts
We may collect this information directly from you or, where you authorise us or where permitted by law, from:
Publicly available sources
Credit agencies, insurers, product providers, and other service firms
Your accountant, lawyer, or other professional advisers.
If you choose not to provide requested information we may be unable to begin or continue our engagement.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information only for purposes connected with:
Providing financial planning and advice services tailored to your needs
Meeting legal and regulatory obligations (including AML/CFT)
Communicating with you about our advice to you
Maintaining accurate business, compliance and accounting records.
We take reasonable steps to ensure information is accurate, complete and up to date before we use it.
4. Use of AI and Technology
We use Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Co-Pilot (an AI productivity tool) inside our secure tenancy. Co-Pilot assists with drafting and analysis but does not make decisions about your affairs.
With your consent we may audio-record or transcribe meetings to improve accuracy and service quality. Recordings are stored in Microsoft 365 and retained for up to seven years unless we are legally required to keep them longer.
5. Disclosure of Information
We may disclose your personal information to others outside Page Wealth where:
It is necessary to enable us to achieve the purpose that we collected the information for;
We are required or authorised by law or where we have a public duty to do so;
You have expressly consented to the disclosure or your consent can be reasonably inferred from the circumstances; or
We are permitted to disclose the information under the Privacy Act 2020.

Your personal information may be used by us for the purpose of providing advice and services to you and may also be used by agencies such as, but not limited to:
Any outsourced service provider who assists in the services we are required to carry out such as auditors, external compliance reviewers and outsourced AMLCFT compliance providers
Our external dispute resolution service
The Regulator
Credit reporting and debt collecting organisations
If we don’t need to share your information with a third party in order to provide advice and services to you, we will not pass on your information to them without your consent. Under no circumstances will we sell or receive payment for disclosing your personal information.
6. Security Measures
We take the security of your personal information seriously. Measures we have in place include:
Data Encryption: All data held in Microsoft 365 is encrypted at rest and in transit
Password Management: Strong, unique passwords are generated and stored in a secure password manager
Access Control: Only authorized personnel who require the information to do their job have access to client information.
Microsoft stores our primary Microsoft 365 customer data at rest in its New Zealand data-centre region. Certain ancillary workloads or back-ups may be processed in Australia or Singapore. Where this occurs, Microsoft is contractually bound to provide safeguards comparable to the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
7. Data breaches
We work hard to keep your personal information safe. However, despite applying strict security measures and following industry standards to protect your personal information, there is still a possibility that our security could be breached. If we experience a privacy breach, where there is a loss or unauthorised access or disclosure of your personal information that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will, as soon as we become aware of the breach:
Seek to quickly identify and secure the breach to prevent any further breaches and reduce the harm caused
Assess the nature and severity of the breach, including the type of personal information involved and the risk of harm to affected individuals
Advise and involve the appropriate authorities where criminal activity is suspected
Where appropriate, notify any individuals who are affected by the breach (where possible, directly)
Where appropriate, put a notice on our website advising our clients of the breach, and
Notify the Privacy Commissioner.
8. Your Rights
You may at any time:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct any inaccurate or incomplete information
Withdraw consent for processing that is not required by law or contract.

We aim to resolve complaints as quickly as possible. We strive to resolve complaints within five working days, but some complaints take longer to resolve. If your complaint is taking longer, we will let you know what is happening and a date by which you can reasonably expect a response.

10. Cookies and Website Data
Our website www.pagewealth.co.nz uses first-party cookies and Google Analytics to collect anonymous traffic statistics that help us improve the site. You can disable cookies in your browser – essential site functions will still work.
11. Retention of Information
Regulations require us to keep personal information for seven years after our business relationship ends (not simply your last contact). After that we securely delete or destroy it unless a longer period is legally required.
